What is the initial check-in process at Dog Resort Moonbow?

After registering your dog with us in advance, arranging an appointment and a taster meeting one to two weeks beforehand, you will bring your darling to Giolou at the agreed time. You park the car under trees only 10 m away or simply on our long driveway and walk to our signposted entrance area. Of course, one of our team will be there and will let you together in our secured and protected access to the Dog Resort Moonbow.

From here you can see everything. You can see the large, fenced-in playground with the olive trees, gargoyles and toys, the dog house with a covered terrace and, above, the Villa Moonbow, where the two-legged friends live with their four-legged friends.

After an extensive greeting and fresh water lapping after the car ride, we take care of the dog's well-being in the form of the necessary formalities. Means we'll discuss again what needs to be considered for the time of accommodation for your sweety. We quickly check the dog's chip and vaccination card and do a quick flea check. Of course, we also talk about any special features, habits and wishes, accept food and/or the dog bed you have brought with you and take a photo of your dog and owner.

If you have booked the Golden Suite or a personal 24/7 live view of your dog in another room, you now get your private access to the camera that always has your dog in view when he is in his room.

Now all that's missing is the finances. You either paid in advance by bank transfer or you now pay the total amount in cash.

We'll give you time to say goodbye and then we'll bring your sweety to the dog house. Of course you can also come with us and lead your dog to the booked room yourself.

Now it's time to say goodbye, for a few days or even weeks, but with the good feeling that your darling will find new friends, he will romp around happily in loving and safe surroundings and you will soon be able to cuddle each other again.

You are free to decide whether a check-in takes 10 minutes or an hour.

Dogs that have been with us before will have a pre-filled Sweety Check-in form when you bring your dog over for another visit.

Taster meeting. If a dog is with us for the first time at the Dog Resort Moonbow, an initial meeting one to two weeks before the actual stay is essential. Whether your dog is a bit difficult behaviorally because they don't like other people or dogs that much, or they're just anxious, it's better for everyone to be able to sniff each other out beforehand. We get to know each other, can clarify human things and your darling can do a few laps on the playing field.

Getting to know each other a few days before the booked period is very important, especially for your dog. He internalizes that you will pick him up because you are taking him home after this first meeting. In addition, he recognizes our smell, the environment ... - this will make this big step easier for him.
